FPT SOFTWARE'S NEW APPOINTMENTS

FPT Software’s Board of Directors announces the election of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam as FPT Software Chairman and the appointment of Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam assumed his new position on December 1, 2008. And the appointment of Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien became effective on January 1, 2009.Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam was CEO since the founding of the Company. Having played a key role in FPT Corporation since its early days, he has extensive experience in the software industry. Under his management, FPT Software turned from a company with 17 staff members to a multinational organization with 2700 employees and an average growth rate of 70% for the years 2002-2007.Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien was Director of FPT Japan before being appointed FPT Software CEO. She too, has been with FPT Software since its inception and has occupied various important positions such as FPT India CEO and FPT Software Vice President.
According to another decision of FPT Corporation Board of Directors announced on December 18, 2008, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam will officially undertake his duties as FPT Corporation CEO on April 15, 2009. Mr. Truong Gia Binh will cease to occupy the role of FPT CEO and continues to occupy the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The appointment of the new CEOs is a testament to FPT Corporation’s commitment to focus on its globalization strategy, providing software and services, as well as its target of achieving continuous and stable development.
